TAEKWONDO ATHLETES UNITED
THE NEXT LEVEL SHOULDN'T BE OUT OF REACH
Talent earns the opportunity. Hard work earns the moment. But the cost of competition can stand in the way.
We're building a community dedicated to helping competitive Taekwondo athletes overcome financial barriers and pursue their potential.
OUR MISSION
Why TAU Exists
Every athlete who steps onto the competition mat has already invested countless hours of training, sacrifice, and determination. But advancing in competitive Taekwondo requires more than dedication.
Tournament registration, travel, lodging, and equipment can create significant financial challenges for athletes and their families.
Taekwondo Athletes United was created to help bridge that gap.
As an independent, parent-led nonprofit organization, our mission is to bring families, businesses, and communities together to help deserving athletes pursue competitive opportunities without allowing financial barriers to determine their future.
THE CHALLENGE
Competing at the Next Level Costs More Than Talent
The road to the podium doesn't end when training is over. For competitive Taekwondo athletes, every tournament brings new expenses.
Registration fees, transportation, hotel stays, and required equipment can quickly add up—especially for families supporting athletes competing at the regional and national levels.
Sometimes the biggest obstacle isn't the opponent across the mat. It's the cost of getting there.
Registration Fees
Entry fees for regional qualifiers, national championships, and other competitive events.
Travel
Transportation expenses that make competing beyond the local area possible.
Lodging
Hotel accommodations for athletes and families attending multi-day tournaments.
Gear & Equipment
Competition-approved protective equipment and other essential gear.
